Your files never leave your device — that's the whole idea. FreeConvertio is a free online toolkit for everyday file work: merging and compressing PDFs, converting images to PDF and back, resizing photos, trimming audio, generating QR codes, formatting JSON, calculating loan payments — over 110 utilities and counting. Every tool runs client-side using WebAssembly, HTML5 Canvas, and JavaScript. No uploads, no queues, no accounts, no paywalls.

Why on-device?

Most online converters upload your personal documents — contracts, tax forms, medical scans, family photos — to a stranger's server, process them there, and (hopefully) delete them later. Browsers today are powerful enough to do this work locally, so we built FreeConvertio to keep private files private (conversion happens in your browser sandbox; closing the tab wipes working memory), stay free and unlimited (no per-file server bills means no daily caps or watermarks), and work fast (no upload/download round trips).

Who runs FreeConvertio

FreeConvertio is built and maintained by Solat Nadeem (LinkedIn) and Goshbuzz Hub, a small independent software group. We publish under our own name, answer support mail ourselves at support@freeconvertio.com, and sign our guides with author bylines and update dates. Our principles: privacy first by design; free means free (no accounts, watermarks, or dark patterns); accuracy over hype (we document limitations); and active maintainership — bugs get fixed and guides get refreshed.

Funding and contact

FreeConvertio is supported by display advertising (Google AdSense), which keeps all tools free. Ads never change how tools work, and we never sell data — there is essentially nothing to sell, since your files stay on your device.
